Subscriptions Marketing Manager

An international London based publishing group is looking for an experienced subscriptions professional to be responsible for subscriptions marketing for its flagship title, as well as working with other titles within the division.

Working as part of a busy team this role would suit someone with solid publishing experience and a keen eye for detail as you will develop and implement creative marketing plans/campaigns for each brand, manage marketing budgets and analyse and optimise the subscriber acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention processes and strategies, as well as manage the circulation audit process and develop strategies for data acquisition.

This is a broad subscriptions role and other responsibilities will involve:

  • Manage and update subscriptions websites and landing pages
  • Ensure marketing strategies are developed in tandem with GDPR and other relevant legislation
  • Conduct research as required
  • Undertake competitor analyses to build a portfolio of campaigns and strategies

This is a great role for someone who understands the mechanics of subscriptions and maybe now looking to take on a more responsible role.

The successful person will have:

  • Proven experience in subscriptions marketing, either in publishing or a similar environment e.g. membership organisation
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Experience of managing budgets
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems
  • The ability to interpret, analyse and disseminate complex, sensitive information.
