Licensing Executive

SAGE is seeking a Licensing Executive to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to further their career in publishing, has strong administrative skills and is open to bringing new ideas to the team. 
 
About our team: 

• The Licensing team are responsible for selling content to third parties through partnerships and translation sales.
• Our work has a direct impact on revenue streams globally.  
• We work closely with Editorial, Sales, Product Technology and Finance.  

Could you be our new Licensing Executive?   

• You have Strong written and oral communication skills.
• You are able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-changing environment.
• You are able to work calmly and efficiently to meet deadlines  
• You are experienced in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel including VLookup and Pivot Tables.
• You have strong organization skills and can effectively manage your time.
• You have good attention to detail.
• You are able to identify and escalate non routine issues as needed.
• You have experience of copyright and contracts in relation to Licensing. 

Your new role:  

• You will manage all communications with internal teams and stakeholders
• You will work with Manager, Global Rights and Licensing to provide calculations and due diligence for acquisitions
• You will collate usage and royalty statements.
• You will assist Manager, Global Rights and Licensing with Business Development and proposals.  
• You will manage relationships with Reprographic Rights Organisations
• You will attend industry events where necessary and will provide support and advice to Editorial at transmittal to ensure the Journal has the most appropriate licensing arrangements possible.
• You will provide support and advice to editors and publishers for all queries related to licensing
