Product Assistant

Scholastic is the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books, and in the UK is home to authors and illustrators including Philip Pullman, Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler and Liz Pichon and series including The Hunger Games, Tom Gates, Captain Underpants and Horrible Histories. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our Product Team.

You will provide key support to the Product Team in the creation of product ranges for Clubs and Fairs that deliver to agreed targets. You will be proofing print and web materials, writing copy and liaising with inventory teams on the day-to-day management of the supply chain, and working with suppliers to ensure the business has the most up to date information on relevant product.

You must be creative, numerate and have an excellent eye for detail as accuracy is essential for this role. You must also be proficient in all Microsoft packages especially in Excel and web processes and have an interest in and knowledge of children’s books.
