Senior Marketing Officer

Scholastic is the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books, and in the UK is home to some of the world’s best-known authors and illustrators including Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler, Philip Pullman and Liz Pichon, as well as brands including The Hunger Games, Horrible Histories and Captain Underpants.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative talent with exceptional organisational skills who will deliver outstanding marketing campaigns as well as supporting on lead brand activity to drive sales.

With experience and understanding of the full on and off line marketing mix, you’ll work with the Marketing, PR and Sales teams to launch and grow new talent and established brands through innovative marketing to trade, parents, teachers and readers.

With a busy schedule, you’ll need to be flexible, quick-thinking, hard-working and can-do with an eye for detail to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget.

Comfortable communicating with both internal and external stakeholders, you’ll be at ease presenting and discussing plans as well as representing the Scholastic list where needed.

This role requires an ability to thrive under pressure and a successful track-record of proven marketing experience.
