Job Profile:
After incredibly strong sales growth over the past three years, Simon & Schuster UK are looking to strengthen the Client Publishing Department, a focus area of growth for the company. As Client Sales Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to the growing success of the Client Publishing Department.
The Role:
Reporting to the Client Publishing Director, you will be responsible for liaising with and managing the schedules of each our Client Publishers from the UK, the US and Australia. You will work closely with the Simon & Schuster UK sales teams to ensure they have effective sales materials, as well as preparing presentations and internal reports. In addition, the successful candidate will provide general support to the Client Sales team.
The Candidate Profile:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual who can appreciate the specific needs of individual Client Publishers. You should always be willing to take on new challenges, be flexible and determined to succeed. You will have the ability to multi-task and be comfortable working on your own, as well as part of a team. Good IT skills will also be preferred (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop and InDesign), an eye for detail and accuracy is vital, along with strong organisational skills.
