BACKGROUND

The Blair Partnership manages brand, franchise and creative coordination across the Wizarding World™. This includes J.K. Rowling’s print and digital publishing, stage and theatrical rights, as well as the coordination of other brand and franchise focused commercial activity with partners, most notably including Warner Bros. This role is an integral part of the Brand & Franchise Development Team.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To facilitate Brand Marketing plans and approvals across the Wizarding World franchise portfolio by supporting the TBP Brand Managers. The job is focused on ensuring brand and product marketing reflects our client’s vision, the franchise brand values, and is in line with the strategic franchise plan. This role is responsible for supporting the team and collaborating with partners to achieve high quality materials, and approving those materials on behalf of our client.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

  • Supports and assists the Brand Managers across a variety of franchise projects and partners.
  • Works with the Brand Managers to ensure approvals and feedback on marketing and social media materials across the franchise are delivered in a swift and efficient way.
  • Acts as a key point of contact between the Brand Management function and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Updates and manages general process for administration, presentations and communication.
  • Responsible for competitor research and updating the team on industry trends in marketing and comms.
  • Supports Brand Managers and the wider team on workshops and key events for partners and key stakeholders.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Previous experience in a brand/marketing role. 
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • An understanding of brand marketing within the entertainment industries would be advantageous.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative and innovative.
  • Able to work across multiple projects simultaneously and deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Able to work autonomously, and to remain agile and prioritise projects in a rapidly changing work environment. 
  • Strong team-working skills and the ability to maintain good working relationships with internal and external teams.
