Company Overview

We were founded in 1899 by Albert Curtis Brown, an American newspaper correspondent based in England, who fell into the role of agent almost by accident when a chance social encounter led to him brokering the publication of The Vineyard by John Oliver Hobbes in London’s Pall Mall Magazine. Today we represent many of the world's best-selling and award-winning authors and talent working in the film, television, theatre and radio industries.
