Tate Enterprises Ltd. is the trading arm of Tate Gallery. Its main areas of operation are retailing on four sites and on-line, publishing, merchandise, picture library and licensing. Its commercial activities take place within the broader context of the gallery, with frequent interaction with gallery colleagues.

Tate's book Publishing programme (spanning exhibition catalogues, illustrated children's books and general books about art) represents a key part of the commercial activities of Tate Enterprises.
