Salary and Benefits The starting salary for this role is £30,000.
Skills A keen interest in children’s books and lots of enthusiasm! Previous experience working in children’s books is beneficial but not essential. Previous experience working in publicity, plus a range of press contacts and/or experience organising festivals, events, conferences and book tours is beneficial, but not essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creative flair. Confidence in building and maintaining relationships with authors, illustrators and key contacts as well as an eagerness to collaborate with the wider Nosy Crow team. Strong organisation and time management skills, and the ability to constantly prioritise in a busy and sometimes pressurised environment. Basic design skills using InDesign and Photoshop desirable but not essential.
