| Skills | Proven experience of managing a bookshop or shop within a cultural organization, charity, educational establishment, social enterprise or business; Experience of managing staff and/or volunteers; Experience of managing and monitoring budgets; Reliable, organized, and able to be self-directed in planning and executing work; Good oral and written interpersonal communication skills; Customer Service Skills including the ability to maintain confidentiality; Openness to feedback in learning situations; Team player with a collegiate and collaborative mindset; Computer literate including Microsoft Office and G Drive with the willingness to learn new digital tools as required; Good record keeping skills; Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the business; Willingness to undertake training as required (e.g. Data Protection, Health and Safety, First Aid). |
