Academic Partnerships Consultant - UK & Europe

We have an excellent new vacancy with a highly prestigious academic publisher. Our client is looking for a Sales Consultant to sell the publisher's digital courses to academic institutions across the UK and Europe and reach their sales targets. The role is permanent and full-time, and requires regular visits to the client's central London office but it also offers flexible hybrid working options.

The role's responsibilities include:

  • Managing key accounts and maintaining current subscriptions
  • Identifying new sales opportunities by establishing new relationships with customers
  • Managing customer data on the client's CRM system
  • Collaborating with the regional Partnerships Manager on creating sales pitches to optimise revenue
  • Working with and across the Customer Service and Partnerships teams

You will ideally have an understanding of the higher education or library sector, negotiation skills, strong communication and presentation skills, and experience supporting customers in dealing with digital products. Knowledge of online sales databases and Microsoft Office and numeracy skills are also essential.
