There is a new exciting Sales role with a leading publisher of academic books and digital resources for universities and libraries. Looking after the North of England, this role will be responsible for managing the territory calling plan and maximising sales of library products across textbooks, digital products, and branded content.
- Managing existing library accounts across the assigned territories through regular visits and calls
- Developing good understanding of products, regions and competitions through internal training and market research
- Working with the Library Marketing team to develop strategies to drive growth across all library products
- Maintaining client records on CRM system
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a publisher with an amazing portfolio in the Social Sciences and who is at the forefront of library technology, and take ownership of key territories for the business. As there is travelling involved to meet clients, it is recommend that candidates hold a UK driving licence.
We are looking for consultative sales technique, great presentation and account management skills, and ideally some familiarity with publishing/media sales or with the academic marketplace.
