Account Director

We have a fantastic opportunity with an independent London publisher of lifestyle, health and self development courses. They are a fast growing company with international offices and a wonderful list of products, and are looking for a highly motivated and target oriented Account Director for a minimum of 12 months on a FTC, to provide excellent support to their corporate client base by delivering learning experiences. The ideal candidate would be someone from a sales background who has worked within the B2B sector, either as an account manager or in a business development role. They need someone who has a proven track record of exceeding sales targets with new and existing business, managing the sales process from initial contact, understanding client needs and building positive and successful relationships whilst growing the company's brand and driving sales forward.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Owning the whole sales and account management process, from early conversations to proposal/pitch
  • Building credible relationships with new and existing clients/ organisations to drive sales
  • Managing and growing client accounts
  • Meeting with senior Learning and Development people and other stakeholders within organisations to understand current business issues and scope out needs
  • Creating compelling proposals and tailored learning solutions that meet business needs
  • Negotiating with Procurement
  • Navigating around your accounts to spot growth opportunities
  • Writing account and project plans to maximise revenue

We are looking for candidates who are target oriented and able to drive sales forward, who are able to build positive relationships with stakeholders and other key clients, and someone who is highly organised and communicative and has a passion for philosophy, arts and culture. This is a fantastic role which doesn't come often.
