Account Director (UK and Europe)

Are you driven by a love for arts, culture, and literature? We are working with a communications consultancy based in Central London looking for an Account Director to focus on campaigns across UK and European accounts.

Role Overview:

As an Account Director, you will work closely with the Founding Directors and Senior Leadership Team to lead impactful campaigns for a range of clients, including literary awards, publishing initiatives, museums, and heritage projects. This is a hybrid position with 3 days a week at the London office. You'll be managing a portfolio of clients across Europe, managing UK teams and contributing to business development in those regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute strategic media and digital communication plans tailored to the needs of your clients.
• Cultivate strong relationships with media outlets across the UK and Europe to enhance campaign reach.
• Build a robust professional network within the European literary, publishing, and arts communities.
• Present innovative ideas and pitches to clients, maintaining strong partnerships and securing new opportunities.
• Oversee and guide small project teams, ensuring seamless campaign execution and results.
• Stay up-to-date on trends and developments within the European cultural and media landscapes to provide expert guidance and support to your clients.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have a strong connection to the arts, literature, and cultural sectors, with extensive experience in PR and communications, ideally in an agency setting. They will have a proven track record of leading successful, high-profile media campaigns, and a strong network of media contacts in both the UK and Europe.

We are looking for excellent communication and presentation skills, with meticulous attention to detail and great organisational skills.
