Account Executive

We have an exciting new Sales opportunity with a digital media and medical publishing company, looking to appoint an Account Executive to nurture and grow their client portfolio. This role will suit a driven and customer-focused candidate, who is talented in building long term professional relationships with clients and work in a friendly, fast-paced and high performing team. This client is a brilliant publisher specialising in medical media, who produces very high quality digital and print products for physicians worldwide.

The role will be home-based with weekly presence in the Buckinghamshire office (easily commutable from London or Oxford via train or car).

The Account Executive will be responsible for:

  • Building and nurturing client relationships, and trying to identifying their needs in order to offer tailored solutions
  • Identifying new product development and revenue opportunities, and approaching new prospect clients
  • Overseeing good client relations and effective communications between Editorial, Marketing, and Production
  • Delivering successful product presentations to key clients
  • Attending relevant meetings and industry events such as congresses to build rapport with key clients, as well as sector knowledge
  • Helping with sales reports, forecast and analytics
  • Ensuring the full range of products are being presented effectively and in an engaging way, and that revenue opportunities are optimised
  • Managing the CRM systems to build a personal pipeline and ensuring all client info are kept up to date

We are looking for an approachable candidate who wishes to play an active role in the growth of a successful sales team. The successful candidate will be tenacious and able to work both independently and as part of a wider team. You don't need prior medical/scientific knowledge, but this role will require you to be to engage with key clients in the medical community and stay up-to-date with industry trends, and we are looking for someone who can demonstrate passion and interest for the field. Strong communication and presentation skills are highly desirable, together with knowledge of Office suite and CRM systems.
