Account Executive

An innovative education focused publishing organisation based in Oxford is seeking to recruit an Account Executive to join their international sales team, and build new and develop existing relationships across Asia, Australia and New Zealand in order to maximise subscriptions and renewals of the educational resources. This role is based in our client's Oxford office and offers a competitive salary package, hybrid working, with 1 day working from home (Wednesdays), and a supportive and friendly working environment.

Key customers will include those in the international schools sector, where the Account Executive will be in regular contact (via email and telephone) with school librarians, IB coordinators, and drama teachers for instance, engaging with them and encouraging their use of prestigious e-resources available via an online subscription service. This role will be crucial in maintaining and developing strong relationships with customers.

The successful candidate will ideally have some prior sales experience, or of working in a customer focused role, and will have a collaborative and driven approach to work. Top-notch communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential as well as the ability to be extremely organised and juggle a busy and varied workload. The ideal candidate will be comfortable and confident using the phone to develop strong customer relationships, and hold a great enthusiasm to achieve success in a target driven role.
