Account Executive

Account Executive | London. The leading provider of information resources to the library community (academic & public) is looking to appoint an Account Executive for their UK office who will support one of their key UK regions.

You will be responsible for generating new business in addition to upselling to current customers and maintaining existing client business.

Based in their north London offices and working closely with the senior sales team, you will develop an effective strategy to maximise revenue and sales.

Confident in your ability to find new leads and to cold call clients, you will have a consultative sales approach and will work with existing and new clients to understand their needs and requirements.

The key responsibilities in this role include:

" Customer retention and building relationships
" Being able to adapt communication style to suit clients
" Listening to customer needs in a consultative manner
" Being able to effectively communicate the benefits and features of the technical products
" Develop the market sector by finding new business opportunities
" Update and maintain a CRM system

You will be able to demonstrate your previous, or current, experience in account management and/or sales and will ideally have experience of selling technical products. Ready to be a brand advocate for this organisation and willing to build strong relationships with new and existing clients, you will be quick to learn and have proven ability at achieving results under pressure.

An excellent remuneration package will be available, depending on experience, and there will be a requirement to travel to the U.S. as part of your training.
