Account Executive (EBooks)

An eBook publisher is looking for an Account Executive to provide operational and customer support to their  clients. This is great opportunity for someone interested in sales/operations/eBook who looking to get the get their first opportunity in publishing. 

Key duties:

  • Process account set up of customers onto system
  • Maintaining internal systems
  • Assist clients with queries and work with on conversion process
  • Metadata management 
  • Work with customers on technical questions to do with delivering files, ePub, devices and file processing at retailers
  • Assist customers to maximise availability of content; analyse publisher titles and recommend best practice regarding conversion and files
  • Educate customers about ebooks and the ebook market

Experience / skills required:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong admin skills and experience maintaining  databases
  • Proactive attitude willing to go that extra mile in order to help or make things happen
  • Knowledge of publishing processes and understanding of the developments in the ebook market
  • Good understanding of how retailers work and have commercial awareness
