Are you available to start in this fantastic, 18-month maternity contract position? Redwood is very excited to be working with one of the leading children’s publishing brands, who are looking to appoint an experienced Sales or Account Manager to cover this exciting and varied position.
The company is a global digital audiobook and eBook publisher, and this position will serve their important digital retail and library accounts across the UK and internationally. Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, you will be managing a range of established relationships with their global digital retail and library partners, where you will be the central source of communication across the business, driving sales revenue using a range of commercial strategies. Based from their London offices, the position offers 3 days in the office and 2 days remote working each week.
Responsibilities will include:
• Communicating with partners about on titles, campaigns, marketing assets, and
other activity happening across the publishing programme
• Developing a detailed knowledge of the company’s products and pricing
• Developing and executing commercial, merchandising and campaign strategies to maximise
sales opportunities.
• Collaborating with the Marketing Team to develop and implement high impact and
commercially creative campaigns
• Developing an in-depth understanding of the business’ commercial arrangements
This role requires demonstrable book publishing sales/account management experience and excellent knowledge of the book trade, either in the UK or internationally. A collaborative team player, you will have first-class communication skills and high numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload.
