Do you have proven advertising sales experience in the media or publishing industry? Are you forward-thinking, highly motivated and keen to develop new business opportunities online and offline? Our client, a leading print and online magazine publisher, is looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager to develop and manage their book publishing client base and ensure sales targets are met - and exceeded - for both their print and online advertising.
This fantastic role involves assisting the long-term growth of the products and services, developing new business relationships and online opportunities and managing existing clients, monitoring trends and maintaining market share, attending all relevant exhibitions to increase sales and acting as ambassador for the company where necessary.
The successful candidate will have fantastic client-facing, B2B sales experience ideally gained in the media or publishing industry, excellent organisational skills and a strong and confident personality with strong negotiating abilities. Knowledge or experience of selling advertising in the UK would be an advantage as would a good understanding of Book Publishing.
