Account Manager (Germany & France)

We are on the lookout for a French or German speaking sales candidate who would like to join a successful team with an international publisher of academic resources. You'll be joining them in the role of Account Manager, and be responsible for looking after a range of institutional, corporate and public accounts and drive forward sales for the portfolio of academic print and digital products.

The role can be home-based within the UK, but will require regular travel to allocated territories.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the retention and upselling of print and digital resources to existing accounts
  • Facilitating the sale of databases to organisations via single or multi-year agreements
  • Delivering client presentations to introduce new products
  • Sourcing and targeting nee prospects
  • Attending relevant conferences and exhibitions, representing the company and building a network of professional contacts

As this role will primarily look after French and German accounts, knowledge of one of these two languages is a key requirement for the role, together with good sales / business development experience either in an academic or B2B sales environment.
