Acquisitions Editor - Non-Fiction Illustrated

Are you passionate about illustrated books? Do you want to run your own list? are you known for your commissioning skills ?

We have an amazing opportunity, our client a leading publisher of Illustrated non-fiction ( lifestyle), based in London, are now looking to hire an Acquisitions Editor to develop a new list of non-fiction titles and series. If you are a self-starter, who thrives under pressure, commercially minded and have a creative flair for health, crafts and well-being then this role could be for you.

We are looking for someone who is fantastic at spotting new trends, voices and talent! Our client would be excited by a" Make it happen" attitude; who comes with commissioning experience as well a strong network across the agenting world. Building and developing a wide author list is crucial for this role, along with being confident with book proposals and pitching. You must have working knowledge of managing the book process and commissioning designers and photographers.
