Acquisitions Manager (Sales Manager UK)

Our client is looking for an Acquisitions Manager to develop new client relationships across the Book publishing industry across the UK. We are looking for a savvy sales person, who can present the features and benefits to the UK Book publishing industry succinctly, on board new clients and develop those accounts.

We are looking for a hunter, but one that knows the industry and how to work with the industry, understanding what services they are using now and how these services could help them more effectively from both a cost stand point and service standpoints.

Must haves:

·Experience and examples of driving sales targets
·Great network and knowledge of book publishing industry
·Can work alone and can demonstrate self-motivation
·Demonstrate initiative
·Fantastic problem solving skills - with a good analytical approach
·Spot opportunities and growth
·Solid negotiating skills and experience in contract renewals
·Excellent presentation skills
·Organised, consistent, great communicator

Please note that in this role you will be expected to work from the London office and there will be around 30 - 40% travel involved including international book fairs.
