Administrator and Social Media Coordinator

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Administrator to join the team in our London office, supporting our friendly consultants in London and Oxford and maintaining our Social Media. This role will be starting early November to allow a handover with the current Administrator.

 

Key duties:

  • Provide effective administration support to the team
  • First point of contact with clients and candidates over the phone, forwarding calls to the team
  • Keep recruitment database up to date including uploading new CVs and updating candidate and client records
  • Publication of adverts on websites and job boards
  • Monitor incoming CVs and distribute to relevant consultants
  • Reformatting of CVs and occasional candidate summary writing
  • Maintaining Social Media sites and creating social media campaigns relevant to the publishing and recruitment industries
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required including filing, scanning etc

Experience / skills required:

  • Some previous office / administration experience is needed
  • Experience adding and updating information on a database
  • Must have a good working knowledge of MS Office including Word and Outlook
  • Good knowledge of Social Media, with experience of Wordpress and a knowledge of SEO a plus
  • Fast and accurate typing and attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent communication skills including good telephone manner
  • Great multi-tasking skills and a willingness to learn new skills
  • Able to prioritise and remain calm under pressure
  • This is an ideal 1st/2nd admin job for someone with an interest in publishing
