- We are looking for a highly skilled marketing professional to join our team and lead the new global marketing strategy and implementation for the LEGO® Books imprint at AMEET.
For 30 years AMEET has published books that inspire young readers and fire their imaginations and creativity. With offices in Poland and Germany, we also have creative and sales hubs in the US and UK. AMEET is the LEGO Group’s partner for LEGO® Books, launched in 2019, which includes a publishing programme spanning novelty books and digital picture books for the youngest readers to middle grade fiction, activity books, audio originals, and illustrated nonfiction for adults. We have an international sales team that sells to over 50 countries and are proud to publish behind some of the world’s most beloved brands.
We are looking for a highly skilled marketing professional to join our team and lead the global marketing strategy and implementation for the LEGO® Books imprint at AMEET.
The primary responsibility of the role will be to plan and execute the global LEGO® Books marketing and publicity strategy. With an international focus, this role will work across social media, digital platforms, physical retail, and events to develop a global marketing and publicity campaign that can be localised. This would be accomplished in collaboration with the team at LEGO® Publishing, our publishing partners, and internal stakeholders including the CEO, international sales teams, editorial, and the Publisher to grow the global awareness of the LEGO® Books imprint. The role is based in the UK and would involve limited international travel (when permitted).
The ideal candidate has a consumer-first approach backed up by a proven track record of executing results-driven campaigns to drive sales. US and/or UK marketing, PR, and event-planning experience with social media savvy across digital platforms relevant to children and families is required, as are engaging presentation skills needed for international meetings/events with internal stakeholders, licensors, authors, publishing partners, and retailers. Please be organised and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience with China is preferred.
