Artworker/Designer - 10-12 Weeks Contract

Are you an Artworker/Designer with a great visual eye, available for a short-term contract? We are working with a lovely publisher of stunningly beautiful books and they are looking for an Artworker/Designer to work on a project for a short-term contract, ideally starting around 22nd May or sooner until the end of July. The role is based in London and would initially involve some hybrid working in the short term for training.

Key responsibilities would include:

• Checking Amazon listing against Firebrand
• Creating and uploading jpeg thumbnail spreads to Firebrand
• Creating and uploading A+ content to Amazon UK, US for UK-originated titles

The ideal person will have:

• Some understanding of importance of image file naming protocols
• Access to a computer with Acrobat and Photoshop:
• MS Excel (for reports)
• Acrobat – basic – conversion from pdf to jpeg, cropping
• Photoshop – basic – understanding of RGB v CMYK, cropping, file size
• An understanding of marketing copy or selling on Amazon would be an advantage but not essential
