Assistant Digital Product Manager

A famous independent publisher in London is looking to grow their digital portfolio and hire a new Assistant Digital Product Manager to work on the digital product delivery for their academic resources.

Their portfolio spans across visual arts, humanities, and social sciences, and they are working on the launch of new exciting platforms and product features.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the delivery of ebook collections and managing third party content partners to work to agreed schedule
  • Building and configuring new landing and index pages, collaborating with UX, Editorial and Marketing to determine design elements and site layout
  • Supporting Product Managers with market research, user experience analysis, reporting site bugs and improvements
  • Reporting on progress across ebook product pipeline to the management team

This is a very digitally-focused role that will suit someone with a passion for digital product development and an awareness of the current digital publishing landscape. You will have good project management skills and ideally knowledge of content management systems and web usability issues. Although not essential, a proven background editing XML and using Jira or similar tools will be an advantage.
