Assistant Editor
Our client is a world leading professional institution producing content to encourage a broader understanding of global economics and geopolitics. We are currently recruiting an Assistant Editor to join their team in Central Berlin, Germany working in a hybrid working pattern 3 days a week in the office, and 2 days from home. This will be an English speaking role based in Berlin and therefore fluency in English is essential as well as the existing right to work in Germany.
The Assistant Editor will be responsible for fact-checking, copy-editing and proofreading publications both in print and digital to house style, including text, maps and graphics. Working with a project lead, this role will be crucial in working on a range of different products and formats ensuring the copy is to the highest editorial standard.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in copy-editing and proofreading with a keen eye for detail as well as a strong interest in pursuing a publishing career. Experience with or exposure to using a CMS would be an advantage as would an interest in international affairs.
