Are you looking to develop your editorial skills and build up some marketing expertise at a prestigious STM publisher? We're looking to fill a brilliant maternity cover opportunity working on the e-learning platform with content, subscriptions and marketing responsibility. This broad role is a great way to develop skills in a thriving environment and help the business make an impact with their marketing activities whilst learning more about the editorial department.
We're ideally looking for someone with editorial experience as this will be primary priority of the role. You would be reviewing content for the learning platform to ensure it's in line with house style, overseeing the manuscript workflows, and raising any issues as they arise. The successful candidate will also be responsible for testing and quality checking, as well as uploading the content onto the website and e-learning platforms.
On the marketing side, you will be working closely with members of the team to raise levels of engagement across social media accounts by developing tailored content for posting across various platforms and via targeted newsletters. There will also be responsibility of tracking and analysing engagement, so experience of using digital marketing tools, such as email marketing, CMS, SEO and PPC, as part of integrated campaigns will be useful.
