Assistant Managing Editor, Tax / Law Publishing

Our client is a leading professional publisher based in Central London and they are looking for an Assistant Managing Editor to join their successful team. The purpose of this role will be to manage the creation of international tax content for a leading digital product through a variety of channels including reporters, correspondents and expert practitioners. You will be overseeing a variety of assignment, writing, editing and tagging processes to meet daily deadlines. 

You will lead editorial staff to achieve editorial targets as well as helping the team to achieve their own individual goals and be involved in the broader, strategic expansion of our clients content and offerings to a worldwide professional audience.

This will suit someone with a knowledge of international tax topics with excellent writing and communication skills alongside a familiarity with publishing systems. Experience in author commissioning and project management is essential as well as the adaptability to change and instil product improvements and ideas. Proven experience in the field of tax or legal publishing is essential alongside a degree or equivalent preferably in Law or Tax.
