Assistant Product Manager

We have an exciting new opportunity within the Academic division of a leading international publisher based in London to join the Product Management team and assist with the product development and management of an award-winning digital portfolio. The portfolio includes titles and digital resources which range from Popular Music to Social Sciences .

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products and content updates are delivered on time, as well as helping with the development of brand new titles.

Key responsibilities:

·Ensure updates and enhancements for the digital products are delivered according to schedule
·Develop ideas for new products through proposal stage, conducting market research and analysis
·Manage the development and design of new digital products
·Build and configure new features for the site, design the site layout and its visual elements
·Liaising with Sales and Marketing to discuss addition of new content
·Becoming a product expert, in order to answer queries from Sales, Marketing and Customer Services and assist with troubleshooting
·Help identifying issues and bugs for new products, and collaborate with external parties including web developers to manage the site
·Provide reports on website usage to identify opportunities for features improvements

This role will suit someone keen to develop their expertise in digital product development. You will have a calm, problem-solving approach, and a good understanding of digital publishing. Coding or CMS experience will be advantageous.
