Assistant Product Manager

Are you experienced in Product Management? A leading Audiobook Publisher is looking to hire an Assistant Product Manager to work across a wide range of initiatives such as mobile apps, websites and custom built databases, whilst assisting senior product managers, software engineers and customer service teams.

This technical role will be working closely with our clients overseas team in Germany assisting with UI and UX design, research, market data, along with maintenance support. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting customer needs, user behaviour and reporting on usage data. You will be involved with the implementation of new features and projects, testing of new developments and preparing systems, training materials, documentation before launch.

To be successful in this role you will be required to have:

  • Computer Science, Product Management or UX/UI Design related degree or experience
  • A good understanding of software development processes
  • High technical understanding and analytical thinking skills
  • Basic knowledge in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, SQL and data analytics tools such as Excel and Google Analytics AND/OR Experience with design software like Sketch or Adobe Creative Cloud and MacOS
  • Excellent communication skills for close collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • German language skill would be desirable
