Associate Director - 1 year FTC

We are on the look out for an Associate Director to join the journals team with an internationally renowned academic publisher for a 1 year maternity cover FTC. If you're from a strong journals publishing background, this could be a great role for you to take on! You'll be helping to develop a strategy within a given field, and leading the team to deliver on this through their publishing activities.

The responsibilities for this Associate Director position will include:

• Taking part in departmental meetings with other senior members of the team
• Developing the performance and market share of titles in the portfolio
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with the team as well as externally
• Negotiating and renewing contracts with input into the financial decision making
• Identifying new business opportunities and taking the lead in driving these forward
• Staying in touch with market trends
