Associate Editor
If you are an experienced, talented writer and editor who is confident working with complex technical information, then this is a fantastic Associate Editor opportunity for you to consider.
Based near Reading and London, our client is a leading independent testing firm, who research and publish reports on software and hardware services.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills and outstanding writing abilities. Liaising with analysts, as well as, editorial and creative teams your responsibilities will include interviewing vendors to gain market and product knowledge, attending trade shows, writing bespoke and standardised reports and producing market analysis, as well as proofreading and providing support for the rest of the editorial team.
The successful candidate will have a background in publishing / journalism and be comfortable with MS Excel, InDesign and have experience in a similar role. The majority of the tested products that this role will work on will be hardware and IT services, so interest in this area would be ideal.
It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is detail orientated, deadline driven and an excellent team player who can use their own initiative to hit the ground running.
