Associate Editor

A fantastic digital publisher of medical news and research is looking for an Associate Editor to work on the launch of a brand new global online service! They are keen to find someone with excellent writing skills who comes from a B2B journalistic background, as this person will be writing pieces for specialist and non-specialist audiences, interviewing key figures in the sector, and developing exciting multimedia content for this new subscription based service.

This portfolio will include news articles, insights reports, infographics and some videos as well, so a creative eye for visuals is an added bonus.

The company is based in Bedfordshire, but open to consider remote options for the right candidate.

This role will be responsible for:

• Researching, planning and writing new content on medical technology and artificial intelligence, in a way that is concise and easily digestible for the readers
• Leading the expansion into new multimedia formats such as interviews and short videos
• Supporting and contributing to white papers, reports, blogs and other types of content
• Building contacts within the industry
• Checking editing and quality of new content

We are looking for someone who can show real engagement with health technology, and who will be able to bring B2B writing and journalistic experience to this editorial role. You don't need to come from a medical or scientific background, but you should be able to use your writing to convert technical info into interesting narratives. This is a fantastic role for someone who is keen to use their editorial skills and be involved in bringing a new product to market and make it commercially successful.
