Associate Editor - 6 Month FTC

If you are an experienced, talented writer and editor who is confident working with complex technical information, then this is a fantastic opportunity for you to consider. Based near London and Reading, our client is a leading independent testing firm which researches and publishes reports on software and hardware services. They are looking for an Associate Editor to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.

They are looking for a candidate with excellent analytical and communication skills and outstanding writing abilities. Liaising with analysts, your responsibilities will include interviewing vendors to gain market and product knowledge, writing bespoke reports and standardised reports and market analysis. Going forward, there will be the opportunity for you to manage workflow and editorial content. The majority of the tested products that this role will work on will be hardware and IT services, so interest in this area would be ideal.

The successful candidate will have a background in journalism or similar and be comfortable with MS Excel, InDesign / InCopy and have experience in a similar role. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to hit the ground running in a growing environment.
