Associate Editor - Research Integrity and Inclusion
We have a new exciting global role with a leading academic publisher of books, journals and learning resources, as they are growing their Research Integrity and inclusion team. As the new Associate Editor, you will focus on providing support around publication ethics cases, investigating possible breaches, and developing new guidelines and workflows for future ethics cases.
The company offers flexible hybrid working, with ideally 1 day a month in the London office.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Research Integrity and Inclusion Manager with the investigation and resolution of publication ethics cases
- Communicating with editors, authors, reviewers and partner institutions to address publication ethics concerns and solutions
- Escalating cases to the Manager, and ensuring relevant stakeholder are kept up to date with potential ethics cases
- Developing training resources for internal and external use on peer review and research integrity
We are looking for candidates with a genuine interest in publishing ethics, and a solid grasp of journals publishing and peer review practices. Previous experience with article submission systems is preferable, though training will be provided. Applications close on June 22nd, so do get in touch for more info!
