Associate Marketing Manager

A global educational publisher in Oxford has an exciting new opportunity for an Associate Marketing Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will liaise with stakeholders, oversee and implement marketing plans, track and measure performance, and manage a small team. This is a full-time role on a 6 month contract, however flexible and part-time applications will also be considered.

Key duties:

  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand product/territory objectives and create and implement marketing plans
  • Recruit, train and manage staff, delegate workloads, support junior team members, and assist senior managers to ensure performance is maintained
  • Create and manage a budget for the list/territory
  • Track and measure performance against targets and manage marketing activity accordingly
  • Lead the development and implementation of advertising strategy for the journals marketing programme

Experience / skills required:

  • Marketing experience in a publishing environment is essential
  • Experience creating and implementing marketing campaigns and analysing results
  • The ability to delegate to others through to delivery (line management experience is desirable)
  • Prior experience of budgetary management would be advantageous
  • Excellent prioritisation, multi-tasking and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders
