Associate Marketing Manager - Books

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Marketing Manager to join a leading academic publisher and work on engaging B2C campaigns to promote a range of high profile scientific books.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing the strategy and drive behind new marketing campaigns
  • Executing key content strategies within assigned books
  • Communicating marketing strategy and campaigns performance to key stakeholders
  • Creating multi-channel campaigns targeting end users (students, medical professionals, researchers)
  • Developing third-party event and conference strategies for assigned disciplines

To be successful in this role, you must be confident reporting on results and key KPI measures, ensuring your market knowledge is always up to date and communicated with key stakeholders, departments and research teams. Strong communication skills are essential for this role with the ability to problem solve and make necessary changes to deliver growth and success to books lists and products.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience of marketing to a large range of audiences with particular strengths and enjoyment in the analytical side of marketing. Strong negotiation and influencing skills are also key, with this role involving building strong customer relationships. Experience in publishing would also be beneficial.

This role offers hybrid working with their offices being based in Oxford, and is a brilliant next step for someone with a strong marketing background who enjoys building relationships and wants to develop their marketing skills further.
