At Lonely Planet we live to travel. Everything we do is designed to inspire and enable travellers to get out there, connect with the world and have great experiences. Across all areas of Lonely Planet, we look for talented people who share our passion.

Lonely Planet is investing in its non-guidebook publishing programme. This is a trade list and currently includes pictorials, travel literature and gift books to inspire travellers, as well as a range of children’s books. We currently have two opportunities for talented Associate Publishers to lead us in the expansion of our list.

·      Associate Publisher – Lonely Planet Kids

·      Associate Publisher – Trade & Reference

These roles will suit a hands-on Publisher with previous illustrated trade non-fiction experience or an experienced Senior Commissioning Editor looking for the next step up.

It goes without saying that you’ll need a passion for travel, a great network of contacts and lots of good ideas. You’ll lead a small team in the development and delivery of Lonely Planet’s Trade & Reference or Children’s lists for publication globally.

These are all full time permanent positions based in our London office.
