B2G Sales Director (EMEA)

Our client, an innovative publisher of digital and online educational resources, based in London, is looking for a self-motivated Business to Government (B2G) International Sales Director with experience of working internationally (outside of the US). In return, the company offers an excellent salary package and hybrid/remote working.

As the B2G Sales Director you will be responsible for achieving revenue growth through increasing sales and establishing new partnerships across the EMEA regions, promoting and selling the company's range of solutions and bespoke education products. As a key member of the leadership team, the Sales Director will work closely with global product and marketing leaders to shape an effective value creation strategy and build a strong Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy per key major market. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead on strategic planning for the B2G business development growth
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Build a strong pipeline for B2G contracts
  • Source and work with strategic partners in territories to help accelerate contracts and relationships
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide key market and sales insights to global product teams
  • Lead and assist with complex sales presentations, proposals and negotiations
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses

The ideal B2G Sales Director will be a strong team player with a focused and hardworking approach and have proven experience of achieving sales targets and new business growth for the EMEA region. As well as having excellent communication and negotiation skills, the Sales Director will ideally have great insight into the international education and digital learning landscape, and experience of developing new business relationships with Governments, including ideally Ministries of Education. This role will be suitable for a proven B2G Sales professional that will own the sales strategy and execution for B2G in the international markets.
