BAME Internship - 1 year Fixed Term Contract

Inspired Selection are honoured and delighted to have been appointed the recruitment partner for a top Academic publisher based in London. We have been asked to help find them several BAME Interns to join the company on an amazing 1 year internship programme which is new for 2022!

What does an Academic Publisher do?

An academic publisher creates and publishes content for students, researchers, academics and lecturers in universities. This content is published in several different formats including digital, online and printed products (e.g. books and journals).

What will this internship programme teach me?

During the internship, you will spend the first six months learning all about academic publishing and the various different job functions across the business. During the second six months you will be on the job training in various different roles.

By the end of the internship, you will have developed a highly employable skill set within publishing and have developed excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, awareness and skills in some of the publishing functions.

You will complete a placement within one of the following teams:

  • Editorial
  • Communications
  • Operations
  • Production
