Production Controller, Adult Special Interest

We are looking for an experienced Production Controller to join our busy Production team working on Bloomsbury Adult Special Interest titles. Bloomsbury publishes a prestigious international list of trade and specialist non-fiction titles. Subject areas include: Natural History, Sports, Sailing and Creative Arts.

Reporting to the Adult Colour Manager, key tasks will include handling colour and mono frontlist titles along with co-editions on our Special Interest lists. You will work closely with our in-house Editorial and Design teams, with Sales and Marketing colleagues, as well as with a global supplier base.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid and proven colour and mono Production experience
  • Good working knowledge of Mac-based Adobe suite (InDesign Photoshop) and Microsoft Office suite
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Proven experience policing schedules and working within budgets

The role is a full-time permanent position based at our London office, 50 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3DP on a hybrid working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred).  Allocated office days for this role are: Mondays and Tuesdays
