Books Editor (Children's)

This is an exciting new challenge for an Editor with Books publishing experience. Fantastic opportunity for a creative Editor to work across the publishing lists. You will manage and edit multiple projects including existing and new projects and creating bespoke titles. Write and edit text, working closely with authors, brief designers to ensure files are supplied on time and to the right specification. Commission projects and help oversee project work across the List. Project management, from initial concept through to completion. Proofread material to check editorial detail.  Book publishing experience. Good editorial background, ideally working in book publishing. Excellent attention to detail. Proofreading, copywriting, copy-editing skills. Good project management skills. Excellent communication skills verbally. Children's publishing experience advantageous. Great writing skills.
