Books Production Coordinator

Are you looking for a new remote role in books publishing? We have an exciting opportunity in the Production team of an award-winning academic publisher, and it can be entirely home based!

The Books Production Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the editorial handover of book projects into production
  • Completing final proof checks
  • Overseeing the production workflow, working closely with out-of-house international partners and suppliers
  • Coordinating the production schedule and monitoring costing to ensuring timely publication

This role requires great organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects across various teams, and it will suit a confident communicator who can juggle many deadlines at once. Publishing experience is not essential, and training will be provided on the production cycle, but we'd like to see a genuine passion for this industry and an awareness of the academic book publishing landscape.

For a full description of the role, please send your CV with a brief paragraph outlining your relevant skills.

Closing Date: Early applications may be prioritised.
