Business Analyst

A rare new opportunity has arisen of Business Analyst to join a prestigious global publishing brand with a particular focus on their business-to-government (B2G) channel to market. This role is UK based, offering hybrid working (2 days per month in the Hampshire offices), a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the success of the global B2G strategy. Responsibilities will include (amongst others):

  • Track and report on opportunity pipeline
  • Proactively research NGO funding/investment opportunities
  • Analyse government/NGO documents and proposal requests
  • Draft RFP, RFI, and other proposal documents in support of formal Ministry submissions
  • Craft presentations, "storytelling with data" and synthesise complex information
  • Commission Ministry-focused marketing communications
  • Streamline and document processes
  • Plan meetings, summarise minutes, and pursue follow-up actions with global, cross-functional teams

The ideal Business Analyst will have solid operations, administration or data / research focused experience in a publishing related role, as well as excellent organisation, communication (written and verbal) time-management, and planning skills. You will have good Excel skills and experience managing systems and processes. Familiarity with Middle East business practice and/or Arabic language skills would be beneficial but is not essential.
