  • Hybrid working potential, based in Central London

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Technology Team working with key stakeholders in the development of vital systems.

You will capture current and future business requirements and address true process needs, working with a collaborative and consultative manner aiming to achieve stakeholder confidence and satisfaction. Demonstrating the value of efficient and reliable workflows, processes and system features.

The Role

• Ensure that business requirements are captured, prioritised and analysed

• Analyse data sources and outputs to contribute to logical and physical modelling

• Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders, being comfortable to challenge   and influence where required

• Manage and support testing

• Manage vendors to ensure they are delivering business value

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Publishing experience, and experience of bibliographic systems

• Knowledge of and experience using business analysis techniques as use cases and/or user stories

• Writing test scripts/scenarios and managing testing

• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing

• Excellent stakeholder management skills

• Attention to detail

Desirable

• Experience of managing projects (and knowledge / experience of using project management methodology: Prince2 or PMI a plus)

• Good knowledge of SQL

• Understanding of ETL and data modelling

• Experience of working with third-party APIs
