Business Change Manager
A leading publisher requires a Business Change Manager to plan and execute a large programme of work that will lead to the merger of multiple businesses into one operational centre, thus ensuring a first class supply chain. This will include the transition of technology, systems and staff, including retraining across the group for cohesion. This positon will be a minimum two year fixed term contract operating both in London and the Home Counties.
Key duties:
- Preparation of a business change strategy, including all aspects of physical and IT for transfer to the new site for Programme Director and Management Team sign off
- Preparation and ongoing maintenance of the detailed plan incorporating all relevant activities with owners/timescales
- Monitoring progress against the plan, including maintenance and resolution of the issues log
- Instigation and management of all actions required to ensure the plan stays on target
- Stakeholder management of clients and senior management team to ensure the needs of these groups are met during the transition and in line with plan
Experience / skills required:
Essential
- Proven change manager with experience of delivering change, in particular; systems change
- Previous experience of managing large business change in a dynamic environment
- Precise management of a complex plan containing many moving parts
- Client relationship and commercial management experience
- High level stakeholder management skills
Desirable
- Previous experience of the publishing/creative industries
- knowledge of SAP and JDA technologies
