Business Development Executive, ELT

Looking for an opportunity to develop your career in ELT sales within Europe? We have an exciting field Sales role of Business Development Executive covering Central and Eastern Europe within the ELT team of a leading educational publisher. This position can be based in either the Czech Republic or London, & offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

As ELT Business Development Executive for Central and Eastern Europe, your main remit will be to achieve agreed annual sales goals and maximise revenue by dealing closely with existing key distribution partners in the territory and by identifying new distribution partners where needed. You will also identify and close Ministry business in the region. You will work with key resellers, bookshops and distributors to deliver product training and agree campaigns, negotiating terms and ensuring stock orders are maximised. You will further maximise sales by analysing competitors, bringing in new business and understanding customer needs. In this role you will be responsible for preparing and delivering presentations and product training, attending customer meetings and following through opportunities from consultation to close.

The ideal ELT Business Development Executive for Central and Eastern Europe will be a consultative sales professional with a proven track record of sales success in the educational publishing industry, selling digital and print products. You will have fantastic communication skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with both internal colleagues as well as customers. The successful candidate will be highly organised, with strong prioritisation, MS Office, CRM and database skills. To succeed in this role, you will need a good understanding of, or experience in the ELT, Private Language School (PLS), or state school market and / or teaching experience. Russian language skills would be beneficial but not essential.

Flexibility to travel is a must as this role will require journeys throughout the territory, & occasionally out with. You will need to have a clean driving licence. In return, the company offers an excellent salary and benefits package.
