Business Development Manager

Do you have experience of selling bespoke solutions to businesses? Are you looking for a sales role with lots of autonomy, earning potential and the opportunity to contribute your ideas to benefit the business?

 

A renowned independent science publisher is looking for a Business Development Manager to generate advertising revenue across their digital platforms. Reporting to the Head of Advertising, you will generate revenue from both existing accounts and new business, using an evaluative approach to identify new business opportunities and come up with innovative solutions.

 

In this role you will:

    • Understand your client's needs
    • Work with the content editorial, marketing, client services and video teams to tailor bespoke proposals including a wide variety of content, such as videos and webinars
    • Negotiate to close deals
    • Manage your client's advertising campaigns
    • Report back on ROI and suggest new ideas to improve this

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience of B2B selling, presentation

skills and strong negotiation ability to join a renowned scientific research publisher with excellent development and progression opportunities. Their digital platforms are widely used and you will be coming into a sales role with plentiful existing opportunities, ready to be built upon.
